The farm in the Vulcan area is a clear example of how we see modernisation: we keep what works well and add technology where it can improve the birds’ lives and the production flow. An important project to modernise and expand two barns was designed precisely to increase capacity and bring the infrastructure in line with current requirements in the poultry industry.
This process is about more than just new buildings. It involves upgraded systems for ventilation, lighting, manure management and workflow, so that we can reduce stress for the birds and work more efficiently. Technology helps us control the microclimate more precisely and reduce sudden changes that can affect both bird welfare and egg quality.
When we say we invest in technology, we mean exactly this kind of project: modernised barns, optimised processes and a farm that constantly adapts to current standards. We are not doing “industrial tourism”, but through this article we are symbolically opening the farm’s doors so you can see that behind a carton of mountain eggs there is a combination of experience, care and equipment designed to make things better every single day.
